4. září 2020 byla slavnostně otevřena 1. etapa tehdejšího největšího švédského solárního parku. Během 20 intenzivních měsíců se pole proměnilo ve výrobní areál. Během letních měsíců je celý Strängnäs během dne napájen solární energií.

Our Tjörn Project with El av Sol! ☀

An important project designed with respect for the surrounding nature and local harmony. 

Tjörn has experienced frequent power outages during the busy summer months. The goal of this project was to efficiently store surplus energy from the solar park and strengthen Tjörn's electricity grid, creating long-term sustainability and tangible local value. The 1.5 MW solar park integrates renewable energy seamlessly into its beautiful surroundings, barely noticeable despite its size. At the heart of the park, Huawei Hybrid Cooling LUNA2000 215 kWh batteries store energy and feed power into the grid, ensuring stability for the island’s electricity supply.
